Expansion, Diffusion & Universality are the characteristics of the present age. Advent of Information and Communication Technology is doing commendable job in all these areas of globalization. In our District, though it is still in the formative stage yet we have taken some major initiatives to generate awareness about this field )which is assuming greater role in socio-economic development. As a part of this programme, we have we have started establishing Citizen Service Centres (CSCs) of National eGovernance Plan (NeGP) under the brand name of Khidmat Centres  in various  villages to facilitate our rural youth and citizens  to get benefited by Information Technology. The CSCs  will  also act as Grievance Registration Cells for the convenience of the rural masses besides availing of various G2C and B2C services.

Today, I have pleasure in presenting the updated version of the official Website of district Pulwama. It gives birds eye view of all developmental and promotional activities of the District. I am sure the information and statistical data provided in the website would be of immense use to students, researchers, planners & all those who are interested in formulating developmental strategies for Pulwama.
